Ask others for help on all aspects of Family History

Hi
I have reached a real brickwall. I have discovered the baptism of my 2x great grandfather Alfred Bosher in the Huddersfield records office. The baptism was in Huddersfield in October 1828 and the parents named as William Bosher and May Ann (no maiden name). I could find no marriages, baptisms or deaths besides this one in the registers for Huddersfield or surrounding area for 15 years before or after. I have located Alfred in the 1851 census in London and he married in London in 1852. The occupation of William was given as book keeper on the baptism entry and office clerk on Alfred's marriage certificate. I can't find a complete family of William Mary Ann and Alfred on the ancestry.com 1841 census. I wondered if anyone could help. I am wondering if there is any way of looking in an occupation index or address index.
Hope someone can help.
Best wishes
Ann

Kind regards
