Hello Robert
A picture of Lees Mill Golcar appears in the book Huddersfield Mills- A textile Heritage- by Vivien Teasdale, together with a brief outline of the mill. It should be available at the Huddersfield Library but some books are available at the Root Cellar on loan to members. The librarian should be able to help.
There is no detail in the book stating when it was built. Later it was taken over by John Crowther, after 1874 Messrs Shaw and Berry.-j

Many thanks for that information.. Very useful. I will have a trip to the library and check it out!

I have found some further information on the web. The mill was built in 1808 by Michael Lees...

Thanks again
Robert.
