Hello,
I wondered whether someone may be able to find a burial entry for me please?
Robert M. WATSON died at HUDDERSFIELD in (December quarter) 1952.
Thank you,

Hi,
That's a huge task you're asking of someone with no further information plus a lot of people were being cremated by 1952

Only thing I can suggest is to check the Death Notices in the Local Newspaper, it would probably be in the Weekly Examiner at that time.

Thank you Judith. I thought local folk may have had access to cemetery data as we have in Australia.

Do you have an address, there are quite a few Public Cemeteries in the district and people were and still being buried in local Churchyards.

Hello Judith,
No sorry I don’t, I only managed to find the death today.
I am unable to find HUDDERSFIELD Examiner archives.
I have been advised by the family that Robert was supposedly found dead in a ditch, possibly murdered.
Do ENGLAND’s death certificates state where a person was buried?

No its not on a Death Cert but if he was murdered it would be in paper, try contacting the Local Studies Library at Huddersfield Public Library they have a Newspaper Index and it may be in there.
I would gladly check it for you but don't think I'll be in there for a while now,

Thank you Judith.
Australian death certificates give the burial and / or cremation place but I was unsure what England’s certificates state.
The fellow’s name was Robert Murray WATSON, he was born SCOTLAND 1901.
